Your patient's medical needs are our first concern. When your patients call your office they may be experiencing very stressful, possibly life threatening situations. Our operators are trained to recognize signs of an emergency situation and when appropriate advise your patient to call 911 while we contact your on-call physician.

Equally important is your staff's privacy and respect for their time. The answering service you choose plays a major role in insuring your patients receive the medical care they require while not overburdening your physicians with after-hours routine calls such as prescription refills and appointment scheduling.

GWHS operators screen calls that can be more appropriately covered by your office staff during normal business hours. These messages are handled according to the rules established by your office staff; typically they are forwarded to your office to be addressed the next business day.

TrainingYour patients deserve the upmost courtesy and respect, whether speaking with your office staff or your answering service's operator. To that end GWHS operators are extensively trained in all aspects of representing your practice. Newly trained operators are closely monitored once they begin answering patient calls. Experienced operators are routinely monitored to assure continued high quality service. All operators receive additional training if your office rules are modified or if we upgrade any of our equipment or procedures.

Our training program is conducted by licensed medical professionals. New operators must exhibit proficiency in all aspects of our business before they are allowed to answer your office's calls.
